Air Astana (KC)- Standard Operational Procedure - Transit Bookings
We are happy to have Air Astana on board and in order to ensure that so called "transit shipments" will not suffer from any delays, we would like to stress out the standard procedure for the mentioned bookings on this airline whereas this slightly differs from bookings for one of our other airline partners.
Every booking request with an onward domestic (within Kazakhstan) destination beyond the direct served hubs Almaty (ALA) via LHR, Atyrau (GUW) Via AMS or Astana (TSE ex FRA), will need to be accompanied by a scan of a CPO/DPO document**
- **CPO = prepayment of customs taxes
- **DPO = the obtained document that explains the above document has been received
This document can usually be provided by your customer or should be requested by your customer at the consignee's in Kazakhstan.
Kindly note that without a copy of this document we will not be able to process your booking request.
